I am drawn to the small details of the natural world.  The process of making art enables me to slow down, observe closely and notice things that might otherwise go unseen, deepening my understanding of them. I spend time in one place getting to know it’s plants, birds and insects and let my eyes be drawn to what calls my attention. For me, art making is a felt and intuitive experience rather than an intellectual process.

I am passionate about connecting people with nature through my work, art workshops and exhibitions, sharing my sense of wonder and deepening connection with the natural world that comes from close observation.
