‘Here, Inspired by Nature‘

Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden
Looking forward to this exhibition celebrating the sculpture garden in the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden which is 20 years old this year.
All 12 artists were given a quote to work with taken from the sculpture garden. I was asked to do a paper artwork and chose to work with the beautiful tree , Little Kurrawong. ( Brachychiton bidwillii)
The quote I was given to work with is:
When we tug at a single thing in Nature we find it is attached to everything else in the world - John Muir
If you’re up on the Sunshine Coast please visit the exhibition and take a walk around the botanic gardens.
The exhibition opens Saturday 12 September and finishes on the 27 September.
